Mommy (Daddy) and Me Dance (20 months+): Introduction of dance to children with their moms or dads, includes: music, songs, props, stories and creative movement. This class is for children not yet ready to on their own.
Mini Dance (age 3): Introduction of initial techniques of ballet and specific motor skill patterns to develop rhythm and coordination utilizing music, songs, props, stories and creative movement.
Mini Dance (ages 4-5): A combination class with ballet, tap, and creative movement.
KinderDance (ages 5-7): Further advancement including tap, jazz, and ballet with creative movement at the end of class.
Tap Classes (all ages): Students will hear the beat and feel the rhythm through their feet…even if you have two left feet.
Hip Hop/Jazz (ages 6-9): Blend of technical jazz dance with precision kicks, turns and stylized combinations and the funky, loose style of the popular Hip Hop dance craze.
Hip Hop: Hip hop dance refers to dance styles, mainly street dance styles, primarily danced to hip hop music, or that have evolved as a part of the hip hop culture.
Hip Hop Hooray: A fun introduction to basic Hip Hop moves & dances done to "kid friendly" versions of current songs! For Kindergarteners & First Graders, this class also includes Creative Movement the final 10 minutes of class.
Princess/ Prince Ballet: A wonderful introduction to a full hour of Ballet positions/ technique/ & dances inspired by popular Prince & and Princess songs. For Kindergarteners & First Graders.
Dance Tots (ages 3-5): A combination class of Ballet and Jazz Techniques and Dances, ending with Creative Movement/ Free Dance/ Story Acting.
Musical Theater: Learn to dance to songs from Musicals/ Movies/ T.V. Shows! This style combines choreography & acting out the texts and lyrics of the songs.
Ballet (ages 6 to Adult): Emphasis on body position, physical conditioning, stretching while building an appreciation of discipline and technique.
Pointe Class: An advancement of ballet technique. Dancers must be selected by Miss Nicole to participate.
Contemporary: Is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
Lyrical: A style of dance blending ballet, contemporary, and jazz moves that interpret the lyrics of the song.
Partner Dancing: (Private Lessons & Special Groups Only): Single? Have a partner? No worries; we can accomodate either. Swing, Latin, Country, Ballroom - your choice! Our goal is to make certain you have fun!
